DYNAMIC VETERINARY BUSINESS AWARDS 2025
Huge congratulations to all the Dynamic Veterinary Business Award winners! Really well deserved.
CELEBRATING OUTSTANDING INDEPENDENT VET PRACTICES
Leading the way in veterinary life and business
The primary goal of the Vet Dynamics Conference, is to shine a light on all Independent Vet Practices and the individuals behind them. We invite owners of independent practices to come together to celebrate the dedication, passion, and leadership that drive these practices forward and keep them at the forefront of veterinary innovation and client care.
The Dynamic Awards winners represent a select group of practices that have undergone significant transformations. Some changes may be small, while others are more substantial, but each has made a meaningful impact on people, passion, veterinary performance, and of course, pets.
Well done to all our nominees and winners – we’re really proud to be sharing your veterinary journey with you.
DYNAMIC STRATEGIES AWARD
Sarah Solomon, Practice Owner of Heath Vets along with Emily Chadburn, Clinical Lead and Jess Gambrill, Practice Manager, have worked in close partnership to create a practice environment where people and processes thrive side by side. Sarah, a long-standing Platinum Graduate and Mastermind Member, has invested deeply in her team’s development, providing 1:1 coaching and empowering individuals to drive progress with confidence. Emily and Jess have played a pivotal role in translating this vision into daily practice, supporting the team to refine internal systems, improve operational efficiency, and nurture a culture of growth.
Together, they have successfully addressed key structural challenges and strengthened internal frameworks, enabling the practice to achieve significant sustainable growth. Their collaborative leadership has established Heath Vets as a forward-thinking, supportive, and high-achieving practice with a clear focus on both people and performance.
DYNAMIC LEADERSHIP AWARD
Stuart McMorrow and Fiona Leathers of Westport Veterinary Clinic exemplify the very best of committed, forward-thinking leadership. Dedicated to their own growth, they continually refine how they plan, prioritise, and lead, ensuring every insight from the Platinum modules is put into purposeful action. With courage and openness, they launched their first employee NPS survey, embracing even the toughest feedback as an opportunity to improve. Their willingness to listen and act has led to stronger engagement and significantly higher scores in subsequent surveys – a clear reflection of the trust and respect they have built within their team.
Through embedding shared values, making thoughtful, team-centred decisions, and empowering individuals to thrive, Stuart and Fiona have created a culture people are eager to join. The fact that there is now a waiting list to work with them speaks volumes: Westport Veterinary Clinic has become a practice where people truly want to belong.
DYNAMIC TEAMS AWARD
Winners of the Dynamic Team Award 2025, Rachel and Hamish Duncan exemplify what it means to put people at the heart of practice success. Through their unwavering commitment to team development and culture, they have created an environment where individuals are engaged, aligned, and supported to prioritise both wellbeing and performance. Their leadership ensures that everyone feels valued and empowered, driving a sense of shared purpose that permeates the entire practice.
Never content to stand still, Rachel and Hamish continually seek out new ways to grow and improve. This dedication has resulted in a practice where both the people and the business flourish hand in hand.
Their outstanding achievements have been recognised well beyond the veterinary profession, as Investors in People Platinum awardees for an incredible third time – though, of course, the honour of receiving a Vet Dynamics Award shines even brighter.
DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE AWARD
Winner of the Dynamic Performance Award 2025, James Horner of Horner Vets has shown exceptional strategic vision and execution.
Under his leadership, the practice has expanded into a neighbouring building, maximising growth opportunities while carefully planning ahead to turn quieter periods into valuable income streams. At the same time, James has embraced the challenge of stepping back from day-to-day operations, developing his ability to delegate effectively and empowering other leaders within the practice to step forward.
This balance of ambition and trust has not only driven impressive business performance but has also enabled James to nurture both his practice and his growing family, welcoming a new baby this year. His dedication, foresight, and adaptability make him a true exemplar of dynamic performance.
THE SHERIDAN AWARD
Winner of The Sheridan Award 2025, Natalie Morris-Webb of Malthouse Vets has made an outstanding contribution to both veterinary business development and the wider profession.
Within her own practice, Natalie has embraced Vet Dynamics principles wholeheartedly, driving significant improvements in profitability, team development, and accountability. Her leadership has created a stronger, more resilient business where people and performance thrive together.
Beyond her practice, Natalie has emerged as a courageous and articulate voice for the profession. She has spoken with clarity and conviction on the vital issue of veterinary pricing, and has been a leading force behind the We Are Spartacus movement – challenging corporate claims on pet health clubs and championing independent practices everywhere.
A true driver of change and a shining example of standing up for what you believe in, Natalie embodies the spirit of The Sheridan Award: principled, passionate, and profoundly impactful.
