The Ladder to Leadership - Building a Dynamic Leadership Team

If practice owners are thinking about growth, succession or exit, they will need to develop a dynamic leadership team. This two-day event is designed to empower veterinary professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to establish a Dynamic Leadership Team (SLT) within a primary care setting.

Combining expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, and practical exercises, attendees will explore a step-by-step framework for developing an effective leadership structure that fosters collaboration, drives practice growth, and enhances team morale. 

The benefits of building a strong SLT are far-reaching: enhanced decision-making, increased efficiency, and improved work-life balance for practice owners. Moreover, a cohesive leadership team ensures a supportive environment that fosters professional growth, leading to better patient care, client satisfaction, and staff retention. This event equips practices with the tools to thrive in a competitive landscape.

DAY 1 - PURPOSE AND VISION

Day one focuses on defining the purpose of a Leadership Team and identifying key leadership roles. Participants will learn how to assess team strengths, delegate responsibilities, and establish clear communication channels. Workshops will guide attendees in crafting a leadership charter and aligning leadership goals with the overall vision of the practice.

DAY 2 – IMPLEMENTING LONG TERM SUCCESS

Day two shifts to implementation and long-term success. Attendees will explore strategies for cultivating trust, providing mentorship, and managing conflicts. The sessions will emphasize measuring the impact of the Leadership Team through performance metrics and continuous feedback.
