The most recent update to the Vet Dynamics Index (powered by Carpe Datum), encompasses comprehensive data gathering, categorisation, and examination of a practice’s Profit and Loss data. Users of the Index platform can now observe, assess, monitor and manage both their financial and clinical practice performance. In one place!
Vet Dynamics initially developed the Index software in 2004 and have made significant advancements over the last two decades. In 2017 we rolled out a significant time-saving upgrade by automating the data collection process. Then, in 2020 we transitioned to cloud-based operations.
By amalgamating data from PMS and accounting software into a unified platform, the Index now provides veterinary business leaders with a centralised hub. This consolidation allows veterinary leaders to make timely and more informed decisions. And, of course, results in better outcomes for the practice and the patients in their care.
Software Developer Chris Wallington, spearheaded this development which was planned since 2022. He’s proud to provide user-friendly technological solutions to the veterinary management field, catering specifically to veterinary leaders.
Lorraine Wright, General Manager of Vet Dynamics, said; “Our integration of P&L’s is a complete gamechanger, as significant as Alan pioneering the Fort Dodge Index. Being able to view PMS and P&L data simultaneously and in the same prescriptive format, gives our clients a huge advantage”.
With this new capability, users benefit from:
- Regularly reviewing their financial performance with ease.
- Analysing year-on-year results for comparative insights.
- Examining in detail their income streams and cost categories.
- Tracking month-on-month trends across core categories.
- Monitoring and comparing departmental performance within the business, (for practices that record departmental information initially).
